The inky dark earthy Petite Sirah creates the balance with the Merlot which is more fruit forward.

Mild earthly nose, lightly spicy with notes of fruit, leather and damp earth with warm and smooth finish.

A dark rich smooth Cabernet Sauvignon plucked from our hearty hillside vines. Dark cherry, prune, spiced plum all grace the nose. The earthy raw mineral laden soil leaves an imprint behind that makes this Cabernet Sauvignon distinctly Malibu. Tannins are present but not overbearing. Pairs well with a nicely cooked steak or heavy meal.

The medium-bodied wine has a lively palate, jumping to life with energizing acidity and freshness in the mouth, with a crisp and vibrant mid-palate. The wine ends with soft flavors of strawberry lemonade and potpourri spice with hints of watermelon candy. It's a lovely, refreshing wine.
